École Polytechnique's Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program is a unique degree with 3 years studying on campus to get a Master of Engineering, Science and Technology, and a 4th year that can be done on another campus and outside of France for a specialisation. At the end of the four years, the students obtain two master degrees and the final Diploma of École Polytechnique.

Admission criteria : In order to be admitted to the Ingénieur Polytechnicien program, applicants need to pass an entrance examination in two steps: admissibility and then admission.
